Westside Kia and Playing Host

Kia was very eager and proud to host an event that helps shape our future generation.  Kia recognizes the importance of adequately preparing future generations with the knowledge and skills necessary to be successful and competitive in a business climate.

Kia University and the Orange County Automobile Dealers Association (OCADA) hosted the 21st annual Automotive Technology Competition at KMA’s corporate headquarters on Feb.8.  Teams from six Orange County high schools competed for the honor to represent their school at the National Automotive Technology Competition held during the New York International Auto Show in April.  Each team strived to
diagnose, “de-bug” and repair vehicles in order to earn points in the competition.  The competition helps address the shortage of qualified technicians by advancing students’ technical expertise as well as introducing them to automotive technology career fields.

To help prepare the winning team, Buena Park High School, for the national competition, Kia donated a Sorento to the school’s automotive program.

Westside Kia applauds the efforts of KMA and is reminded of every dealership’s obligation to society and community.  Efforts like theirs will help change the world, one dealership at a time.

Westside Kia is proud to be an automotive leader in their area.
Since opening their doors, Westside Kia has kept a firm commitment to their customers. They offer a wide selection of vehicles and hope to make the car buying process as quick and hassle free as possible.
